Outdoor Gear Repairs
When Michael contacted me last year about his project of walking around the world, I was immediately drawn to it and to the challenge of creating a custom backpack for him to walk with.
At the same time I was also admittedly a bit nervous, since it was a big responsibility and a challenge to create something which would be comfortable to carry around for such a long period and would receive a fair amount of beating.
After hours and hours of research, papers filled with sketches, few failed prototypes and evenings spent at the sewing machine the ‘THING’ finally sees the light.
It is a 80L monster with following features:
- supported back system with removable hip belt
-detachable side pockets and front mesh pocket
- 4x gear straps with t-bar attachments
- roll top closure with two side G-hooks and top G-hook strap
-front zipper access to bottom compartment
-2x inner pocket
